Agreement

By accessing or using My People ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

My People is a personal contacts application that lets you store, organize, and sync information about people in your life. Features may include contact management, circles, tasks, imports and exports, optional briefings, and AI assistant integrations via MCP.

Your account

• You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Your content

You retain ownership of the contact data and other content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to store and use the information you add, including information about other people.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
• Attempt to access another user's data without authorization.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by scraping or overloading our systems.
• Reverse engineer or misuse integrations except as permitted by applicable law.
• Upload malware or content that infringes others' rights.

Third-party integrations

The Service may connect to third-party services such as Google Contacts or AI assistants. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party products or how they handle your data once you connect them.

Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We strive for reliability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MY PEOPLE AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, though provisions that should survive will remain in effect.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where the Service is operated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction still apply where required.
